i am on a knitting binge.

i felt the inklings of too much motivation

bubbling up inside and i doubted at first.

certainly false starts at completeing ufo’s have come and gone before

but, this appears to be the real thing.

it started with finally taking a good picture of the headband above.

that was day one. on day two i finished a baby gift.

(excuse the vague pic below, but the gift hasn’t been given yet.)

not to be outdone, on day three i both finished the hat below

and dragged some other unfinished things

out to see the light of day for the first time in a long time.

i am fully aware

that this knitting adrenaline might dry up at any time.

but, if i can keep this up just a little longer i have (among other things)

two partially done pair of socks, a cabled cowl and my koolhaas fingerless mitts

that i’d really like to wear soon…
