Keep the Feet
There are just times when I want socks, but not really. Like when I wear my wooden soled clogs. Or when the breeze making it's way in through the holes in my crocs is just a tad too cold for my toes. Or when you just want a little dash of fun peeking out from the tops of your mules. These socks are two layers thick and hug snuggly to the arches of your feet. Written in such a way that these can be adjusted to fit any size foot from children on up to women's or even men's sizes. Knit in the round, you can try them on as you go to ensure a perfect fit.

Kissed
This choker can be sweet or edgy depending on the yarn you knit it up in and the beads you choose to add to it. It requires sport weight yarn and is a great project for a partial skein of leftover luxury yarn or a small skein of homespun.

Loved
My kids love this crown. It was originally a request made by my eldest for a friend's birthday gift. She, of course, made the request on Wednesday night for a Saturday morning party. Kids. This knits up quickly in Knit Picks Comfy Bulky. The crown is made in the round and is completely reversible. I recommend choosing an easily washable yarn, since these crowns get lots of wear and need washing often at my house. Due to the stretch of the yarn used here, this fits both my 2 year old and my 9 year old well. This same pattern knit in a worsted weight yarn will fit 6 to 18 month olds. It's also super cute on stuffed animals.

Merciful
This is the best kind of knitting, the kind that looks like you really slaved over it when it was a breeze. The fake fair-isle look is achieved by holding two strands of yarn together as you knit in the round. The colors twist and 'paint' interestingly and all on their own as you knit. There's no need to line this bag either since a stockinette layer lines the inside for you. Three color combinations are pictured (with the needed colors listed) at KnitPicks.com along with the pattern.

Pleasant Places
Sock yarn is so pretty ... sometimes I'm sad to hide it on my feet in my shoes. So here's another option. Buttoned on with your prettiest vintage (or not) buttons this is a great way to show off that sock yarn that called out to be bought at your last visit (or the visit before that) to your favorite local yarn shop.

Slink
My daughter decided that the webkinz snakes she and her best friend own needed sweaters. "They're cold." and "They like each other so they want to match." is what I was told. Cute. This little pattern is my best shot at a toy snake sweater. Kids really do stretch us, don't they?

Stretched the Line
This is the super bulky weight version of 'Line Upon Line'. A soft cozy pillow cover that knits up quickly and wants to be held. The stripes start out thick at the pillow's bottom then they narrow more and more the closer you get to the top. The back is a mirror image of the front. My kids love that due to the changing thickness of the stripes this pillow looks different any way you hold it. It has become a favorite of theirs.

Willingly
I love to be outdoors, but I don't like my ears to be cold. Hence this hat was born. Worked in heavyweight yarn (in women's sz m/lg and men's sz s/m), it knits up quickly. I-cord embellishments dangling from the earflaps give them just enough weight to keep even a strong wind from blowing them about. Toasty warm. Ahh.
