i love the way the yarn that melody (‘fibermania‘ on ravelry) used to knit up ‘kissed’ has shades that blend into each other giving the choker so much depth. and did i mention that she knit it up in less than a day so her niece could wear it on Christmas? wow.

p.s. i checked out melody’s patterns and her ‘beret pour vous?‘ makes me want to make 2010 the year i first attempt mitered squares. her use of the colors and the squares is so very clever.
