the drama club at the jr. high in town

put on ‘charlie and the chocolate factory’ this weekend.

it hit, as my daughter recapped the highlights,

that even the townsfolk who didn’t

get the factory tour with willy wonka himself

were still going to be able to buy their favorite wonka candies

at the corner stores near home.

as i’m about to announce

only five winners today

(when really i want to give yarn to everyone)

that the lovely heather prime alpaca won’t be free to the rest,

but it is still available.

that makes

knowing

there will be letdown

just a little bit easier for me.
